Below are some guidelines and criteria related to the process of submitting scholarly works for inclusion in The Rowdy Scholar.
All MSU Denver undergraduate students are eligible to submit their articles or creative works as long as that work was completed while the student was enrolled at MSU Denver.
Students who have graduated from MSU Denver within the last two years are eligible to submit work completed as an undergraduate student at MSU Denver.
Students must work with their faculty mentor to prepare any submission for consideration of publication. Students are also encouraged to visit the MSU Denver Writing Center for help in preparing text-based submissions.

Submissions are evaluated by a faculty editorial board; however, because the faculty editorial board members may not have expertise on the content of every submission, we count on faculty mentors to work closely with student researchers to ensure manuscripts submitted for consideration are of an appropriate caliber for publication. Following submission, the editorial board for The Rowdy Scholarwill review the work to ensure that the work is original and meets our rigorous publication standards. The Rowdy Scholar is an inclusive journal and The Rowdy Scholar editorial board strives to have representation of research and creative work from diverse disciplines from across the university in each edition of the journal.
