The Individualized Degree Program (IDP) at MSU Denver offers students the opportunity to explore interdisciplinary studies and propose a major or minor specifically designed to meet their educational goals if those goals cannot be met by an existing major or minor in the MSU Denver catalog. Students work with an IDP advisor to evaluate their completed courses, examine possible paths to graduation, discuss their interests, and ultimately design their own degrees.

For students who have taken a diverse range of courses across many fields of study and are seeking an efficient path to graduation, online General Studies and Multidisciplinary Studies Degree options are available. Our goal is to help you create a meaningful online degree by combining courses you’ve already taken and ones that you would like to take.
