Ready to find out what MSU Denver can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
The One World One Water (OWOW) Center is a collaboration between Metropolitan State University of Denver and Denver Botanic Gardens. The partnership presents an opportunity to build on and expand joint initiatives on water issues, leveraging the strength of each institution to more broadly impact water issues in communities near and far.
Denver Botanic Gardens is a cultural and scientific institution attracting more than 1.4 million visitors annually to its multiple sites. The York Street Location is an urban oasis, not far from downtown Denver, with horticultural collections and displays incorporating plants from around the world- from the tropics to the plains.
Chatfield Farms is a 700- acre native plant refuge and active farm just south of Denver. Across these locations, the focus is on adapting and thriving- horticulturally and agriculturally- in our region’s semi-arid climate.
The co-management of the One World One Water Center provides an opportunity to unite MSU Denver’s faculty and students and the Gardens staff, researchers and membership to collectively effect positive change when it comes to the management of Colorado’s limited water resources. Through student internships, collaborative research and a wide range of education initiatives, this collaboration has a local, regional and even global impact.
