Media Studio Technician
The Media Student Technician will be tasked with helping operate and maintain the studios, equipment room, and check-in/out gear to students. In addition, they will be integral to students, faculty, and staff using the space to learn, practice, and create media.
A successful candidate must:
- Have prior experience working in a studio environment, operating cameras, video switchers, lighting, audio boards, and microphones
- Have knowledge about the studio workflow
- Successfully completed the JMP 3445 TV Production class or equivalent
- Able to follow directions, work alone, or as part of a group
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- JMP major or minor
- Two years of TV studio experience
- Able to perform minor equipment repairs
- Understanding how to trace video and audio signals between the different elements of the production chain
- Current or former Met TV member
- MSU Denver student with a current work-study award
