New Employee Orientation:

NEW Full-time administrator employees will attend New Employee Orientation. Emails will be sent out to all new employees and their supervisors in preparation for this event.

  • Dates for New Employee Orientation (NEO) are currently being reimagined to support more effective onboarding processes. Please check the New Employee Portal for more information about the event.
  • New Employee Orientation takes place from 8:30am-12pm virtually (Teams) through the summer 2023 semester.
  • Important information for new employees will be sent out via email one-week prior to their New Employee Orientation.

Full-Time Faculty

New Tenure/Tenure-Track and CAT II Faculty

New Tenure/Tenure-Track Faculty Orientation

New Tenure/Tenure-Track Faculty Orientation is provided by the Center for Teaching, Learning & Design and Human Resources. This orientation is presented in early August, at the beginning of the Academic Year, and is a two-day mandatory orientation for all new full-time tenure and tenure-track faculty members. Light breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided.

New CAT II Faculty Orientation

New CAT II Faculty Orientation is provided by the Center for Faculty Development and Human Resources. This orientation is presented in early August, at the beginning of the Academic Year, and is a one-day mandatory orientation for all new full-time CAT II faculty members. Light breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided.

If you are hired outside the start of the academic year; please register for New Employee Orientation, held twice monthly.

New Affiliate Faculty Orientation:

New Affiliate Faculty Orientation is hosted by the Center for Teaching, Learning & Design and Human Resources. This orientation is presented twice a year, in early August and January, and is a half day mandatory orientation (for new affiliate faculty). Light refreshments are provided.
