MSU Denver, through the Center for Individualized Learning (CIL), allows students to craft their own major in the Individualized Degree Program (IDP).

With the IDP you can, in consultation with and subject to the approval of appropriate faculty and the Center for Individualized Learning, design your own major, minor, or extended major.

Game development is an area that is particularly appropriate for an IDP, because it tends to be very inter-disciplinary, and because  the University does not have any pre-planned degree programs in this field.

If you are interested in an IDP, your first step is to go to Center for Individualized Learning and read more about the CIL and IDP.

Then you should contact the CIL and get started in the process. Based on your specific interests, they will be able to suggest various MSU Denver faculty that you should consult for advising.
