Accelerated MA/MPP Pathway Program

The Accelerated MA/MPP Pathway Program enables Political Science majors at MSU Denver to begin earning graduate‑level credit toward an MA or MPP at DU’s Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs at the University of Denver while completing their bachelor’s degree. By applying up to three approved PSC courses toward your graduate plan, you reduce the total credits required, receive a tuition scholarship, and waive application fees, all before graduation. Streamlined Requirements:  No application fee, no GRE, and only a letter of recommendation from the Chair of the Political Science Department is required.

Program Highlights

  • Credit Reduction: Apply up to three MSU Denver PSC courses (grade B or better) toward your Korbel MA or MPP, reducing the degree from 60 to 48 credits
  • Tuition Scholarship: Receive a 50 percent scholarship on those 48 Korbel credits and remain eligible for additional financial aid

  • Streamlined Requirements: No application fee, no GRE and only two letters of recommendation required

Streamlined Program Requirements

  • Major in Political Science at MSU Denver

  • Minimum cumulative and PSC GPA of 3.0 at graduation

  • Enrollment at Korbel within 24 months of earning your bachelor’s degree

  • Earn a grade of B or better in three approved PSC courses
