Ready to find out what MSU Denver can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, all in-person family and guest programming has been suspended until further notice. For now, our plan is to do virtual programming separate from our virtual student orientations. Any change in plans will be communicated through our webpage as well to our families and guests who signed up for information.
The office of Orientation, Transition, and Retention has always connected with our students’ support systems, whether that be parents, family members, friends, and other community members supporting a student through their college experience. Currently, our students attend an orientation where they get to learn all about MSU Denver, meet new friends, discover opportunities on our campus, and connect with their advisors to learn more about academic requirements and get registered for classes. But where do our families and friends go? Currently, our programming for guests is online and separate from our student orientations. It happens almost exclusively on our MSU Denver Family & Community Facebook page, where we will host bilingual, interactive sessions all summer long (June – August 2021) to answer all of your questions and introduce you to the resources and people available to your students. And if you can’t make the “live” events, don’t worry! We record and post all our workshops to the page for everyone to see. Of course, we are here all year to be a point of contact so you can best support your student’s journey to becoming a Roadrunner. Feel free to reach out on our page, to our office, or our dedicated guest email address: [email protected].
