The Auraria Campus Student Dietetic Association (ACSDA) was founded by Nutrition and Dietetics students at MSU Denver. This club focuses on connecting students with department and community resources that help prepare them for the field of nutrition and dietetics. The club focuses on health and wellness through personal nutrition and education offerings, provides networking opportunities for students, as well as volunteer and career opportunities.

During the Autumn 2024 Bake Sale, the ACSDA raised $360 for Feed5000 to assist with Thanksgiving meals for families!
Food Resource Guide
- Details: The Roadrunner Food Pantry provides free food to all MSU Denver students.
- Location: On Campus, Tivoli 262
- Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 8am – 5pm
- Friday 8am – 11am
- Details: The CCD Food Pantry provides free food to all CCD students at two locations.
- Location: Auraria, Cherry Parking Lot and Lowry (1070 Alton Way)
- Hours: Check the website for upcoming events
- Details: We Don’t Waste rescues food bound for the landfill and holds mobile markets where anyone in the community can pick up free food. There is no need to show ID or prove need. You can just show up and get food for you and your family for the week.

- Hours: Varies
- Details: Denver Inner City Parish holds a weekly food market and families can go every week. You will need to fill out an intake form on your first visit.
- Location: 1212 Mariposa
- Hours: Saturdays, 9am – 12pm
- Details: Colorado Pet Pantry provides free food for pets throughout Colorado at their pantries.
- Location: Multiple locations (see website)
- Hours: Varies
- Details: Denver Food Rescue rescues food from various locations and brings it to multiple nonprofits who distribute that food to the community in various ways.

- Details: The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg food pantry provides food to any community member who needs it up to 2 times per month. Please register on their website using the QR code.
- Location: 3201 South Tamarac Dr
- Hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 10am – 1pm
- Details: Metro Caring provides free Fresh Foods Markets. Families can use this service once a month and can set up a home delivery or visit the market. You can set up a shopping appointment on their website or by calling (303) 860-7200.
- Details: Food Bank of the Rockies offers multiple programs, some open to all and some focused on feeding kids. You can enter your address on their website to find a program near you.

- Details: Free Tasty Food for Youth is a City of Denver program that provides free meals to kids ages 5-18. There is no registration or ID requirement.
