Our senior students will have their work on display and will be available to talk about their portfolios, projects, and experiences as a design student. This is a large group of twenty students with a variety of projects, so come prepared to see a wide range of design inspiration!
Food trucks will be available, along with complimentary snacks and beverages.

We encourage everyone to use public transportation to travel to and from the Auraria Campus. There may be a Colorado Avalanche home game this night and parking may be difficult, and rates will be increased. If you choose to drive to campus, please refer to the Auraria Campus weekend & night parking rates.
Students registered in IND 3850: International Design Workshop, recently spent their spring break in Dortmund, Germany as part of an international design education partnership with Fachhochschule Dortmund’s University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
Students traveled with Professor David Klein for a one-week collaborative project with Architecture and Design students at FH Dortmund, Germany. Inspired by the light installation “Material Memories” (2023) by Hungarian artist Gyula Várnai, students were divided into six teams of four to create wire sculptures that conveyed messages through shadow and composition.
The trip included a visit to the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, the Center for International Light Art in Unna, and other fun evening excursions.
In this daylong lock-in, student designers from MSU Denver, CU Boulder, and CCD went from concept to prototype to solve a common problem for pet owners with limited mobility.
