Emily Griffith offers several different types of English language classes programs. You can register for the classes based on your needs, and you can take classes from any of the programs simultaneously:

CCD English as a Second Language (ESL) pathway offers students a holistic and student-centered approach to improving English-language acquisition. The ESL program offers two programs: pre-college Community ESL and college-level Academic ESL.

Community ESL has 6 levels that all cover each of the major content areas in a single class. These courses are non-credit. These classes are offered in the Aurora Language Center.
College Preparatory ESL focuses on one specific language skill or aspect (grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking) per class, per level, with three different levels (basic, intermediate, and advanced). College Preparatory ESL is designed to aid students in gaining academic skills they will need to be successful in college-level courses.
