Student Employees & Temporary Employees Timesheet Information

Descriptions:

  • Student Employees: Employees of the University whose employment relationship is directly attributed to their current enrollment as a student of the University or of one of the other institutions located on the Auraria Campus. Student employees may either be Work Study or Student Hourly employees. These positions are not benefit eligible and there is no expectation of continued employment from one semester to the next.
  • Classified Hourly Employees: Employees can work 40 hours a week for 9 months and then need to take off for a period of 90 days prior to working for another department. This is a non-benefited position.
  • Administrative Hourly Employees: Employees can work up to 19 hours a week for a period of 12 months. They can work continuously but consult with HR on specific questions. This is a non-benefited position.

ALL STUDENT AND TEMPORARY (HOURLY) EMPLOYEES – 

  • Sign into Workday and go to the TIME app under the Menu.
  • Check-In for the start of each shift and Check-Out for Meals or end of shift.
    • Missed hours will need to be entered by your manager.
  • Submit Absence Request for any Sick Leave Taken

SMBlankTimesheet – Only used for manual payment requests.
