Experience Campus

MSU Denver is located on the Auraria Campus in the heart of downtown Denver - walking distance from Elitch Gardens, the Pepsi Center, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, LoDo's restaurants and shops, and the Denver business district. Campus has access to numerous light-rail stations, bus routes and B-cycle stations but is also conveniently accessible by car.

Our tours are the best way to experience a day in the shoes of an MSU Denver Roadrunner. You'll get to hear some helpful information from one of our admissions counselors and follow a student ambassador as they guide you around!


 

Every student is different, so we offer a variety of options. Read more about each one and decide which is best for you:


Daily Campus Tours

Daily Campus Tours are offered:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2 p.m.

*Except major holidays

Daily Campus Tours include an information session by an MSU Denver admissions representative followed by a campus tour led by our student ambassadors.  You are welcome to meet an admissions counselor before or after tours to address any individual questions. For more information, call 303-556-3058.  To reserve your spot, please sign up below (Note: If “Sign Up” link is not available, tour is full).

FREE Parking: For Daily and Transfer Tours, park in the 7th Street Parking Garage.

Transfer Visits

Transfer Visits are offered throughout the year to guide you through the process, from decision to transition! 

Transfer students are also welcome to sign up for a Transfer Tour or Daily Campus Tour!

College Navigation 101: Friday, October 20th, 2017        

With a focus on non-traditional, adult, and military/veteran students, we want to make the decision and process to transfer easy! College Navigation 101 will cover basic application and enrollment items, ending the day with an optional campus tour to really feel the Roadrunner experience at MSU Denver. Already admitted? Group Visits

MSU Denver can accommodate Group Tours for 10-60 students. We offer a number of tour options for groups:

  1. MSU Denver Group Tours – For High School Groups.  Includes an information session by an admissions counselor followed by a campus tour led by student ambassadors

  2. Bi-Institutional Group Tours – For groups for Juniors and Seniors in High School.  Includes an information session by both MSU Denver and CCD admissions representatives followed by a campus tour led by MSU Denver student ambassadors.

  3. Road to College – Designed for middle school and younger high school students.  Includes an information session by an admissions counselor outlining what to consider when choosing a college while highlighting MSU Denver as an example, a student panel of MSU Denver ambassadors, and a self-guided scavenger hunt of the Auraria Campus.

Please note: Group Tours require a two hour time frame and cannot be scheduled while daily and transfer tours are in progress.

Our Preview Days give you the chance to experience the life of a Roadrunner:

  • find out what student support resources are offered
  • learn more about programs you're interested in
  • attend mock lectures from professors in your area of interest
  • take a tour to explore our campus
  • and enjoy some lunch on us!
