Quick Reminders

Workday Offers Free Online Courses

Workday provides comprehensive online learning for two key user groups:

  • Business Users: Employees who use Workday to support daily transactional activities.
  • Functional Area Leads: Experts in current business processes and key decision-makers on system configuration.

Subscription-based courses are often short overviews of functionality available at no cost for MSU Denver business users or functional area leads.

Keep in mind that MSU Denver’s configuration of Workday might have some differences; however, the available free training offers excellent overviews of general features and functions.

How to Access Workday's Online Courses

To access Workday’s created training, log into Workday’s Learning system.

Browse the catalog of Workday’s Learning courses based on topic area using the left sidebar or use the search feature to locate specific content. All training courses with “Subscription” or “Free” in the title are available at no cost.

Exciting News: LinkedIn Learning now in Workday!

Employees can now find a variety of LinkedIn Learning courses within the Learning application in Workday. Key points about this important integration include:

  • Course Completion: When you complete courses in Workday, they will appear on both your Workday Learning transcript and your LinkedIn Learning account. However, any previously completed LinkedIn Learning courses or certifications won’t transfer to your Workday Learning transcript.
  • Course Availability: Not all LinkedIn Learning courses are accessible within Workday due to the extensive catalog. If you can’t find a specific course, you can still search directly on LinkedIn Learning.
  • Free Access: Employees enjoy free access to both LinkedIn Learning and Academic Impressions through our university-wide memberships. For login details, visit the MSU Denver Leadership and Organizational Engagement Learning Resources site.

Employee work PO Box mailing addresses have been updated in Workday.
