Pre-med majors interested in learning about lifestyle interventions to prevent and treat many chronic diseases, improve outcomes and quality of life, tackle health disparities, and decrease healthcare costs can pursue a fully online Lifestyle Medicine degree at one of Colorado’s top pre-med schools. Metropolitan State University of Denver is proud to offer one of the best pre-med majors and the first online Lifestyle Medicine Major in the country.
In-person and hybrid options are also available
The Online Bachelor of Science Major in Lifestyle Medicine provides students with competencies in lifestyle medicine, health navigation, and wellness coaching. Lifestyle medicine is the use of evidence-based lifestyle approaches, including healthful eating, physical activity, sleep, stress management, tobacco cessation, fostering relationships, emotional wellness, and environmental health. This holistic medicine degree also offers several paths to a Men’s Health credential.
This program can help you meet many pre med requirements. As you begin your studies, please speak to your academic advisor to select the prerequisites that will likely be necessary for graduate program admission.
