This spring, the Marketing Department at MSU Denver hosted two engaging events to help students connect with professionals and gain real-world experience.

In March, a networking breakfast was held for graduating seniors, offering them a chance to sit down with local marketing professionals. Students shared class projects, discussed their skills, and made connections that could lead to future job or internship opportunities.

In April, the department organized a digital marketing careers panel featuring professionals from various industries like Ben Tarver (VP of Marketing at The Brandsmen), Joel Grabois (CEO and Owner of Blue Onion Media), Ashley Haga (Marketing Director at EverDriven), and Marc Herschberger (Digital Marketing and Campaigns Expert at Ethisphere). The panelists discussed their career paths, shared what their day-to-day work looks like, and offered valuable advice for students entering the digital marketing space. Topics ranged from SEO and content creation to analytics and strategy.

Both events were designed to support students as they transition into the professional world. By connecting students with industry leaders and providing insight into career opportunities, the Marketing Department continues to show its commitment to student success and professional development.

Special Thanks to:
