Peer-to-Peer Mentoring

Group of students gathered together in a classroom setting.

Peer-to-peer mentoring creates a supportive space where entrepreneurs can share experiences, exchange ideas, and learn from one another as equals. Each faculty facilitated session fosters collaboration and mutual growth by allowing participants to both give and receive guidance all while learning from each other’s experiences. This approach builds trust, strengthens communication skills, and encourages problem-solving from diverse perspectives. All without judgment. One of the core tenants of the MSU Denver Peer to Peer Mentoring Project is that peer-mentors never tell you what they think you should do, only what they’ve experienced in the past. Since peers face similar challenges, this experience often feels more relatable and accessible, making the conversation practical and the support authentic. Peer-to-peer mentoring not only accelerates personal and professional development but also builds lasting connections and a stronger sense of community.

MSU Denver’s Center for Entrepreneurship intends to create separate peer to peer mentoring groups for students and alumni. We are currently collecting contact information for individuals who might be interested in participating. To express interest, fill out the form linked below.
