Family Literacy Program
Early Childhood Education - Early Family Literacy (EFL)
Nurturing childhood development
The pre-preschool classroom supports the youngest family members during the early formative years, providing play-based, literacy rich classrooms for children ages 1-5. The structured setting fosters a love of learning and introduces routines and schedules to begin preparing little ones for kindergarten.
Teaching staff gauges children's progress through ten developmental domains and monitors growth throughout the school year. Families receive home visits and participate in parent-teacher conferences each semester.
Parents engage with their children weekly in the early learning classroom through a shared Parent and Child Time (PACT) activities, crafts, and interactive reading to support literacy and learn strategies to apply at home.
