We offer adults ESL literacy and language classes, opportunities to achieve a High School Equivalency diploma, and Career Training pathways that lead to employment.
Program services are designed to provide necessary digital skill development so adults may reach their academic goals and become empowered as workers, parents, and community members.
Explore our courses
Classes provide learners the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills they need for language acquisition. Coursework includes digital literacy, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary development to guide students toward readiness for college and career. Classes are available in person and online.
Preparation is designed for adults who haven’t yet acquired a high school diploma. Classes are available in English and Spanish. Teachers guide instruction in the content areas of Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. Concepts are taught in individual and group settings and applied using digital learning tools. Students can enroll at various times and study is self-paced. Preparation is available in Adams and Denver counties.
This pathway project introduces parents to employment opportunities in the pubic school setting and provides training to matriculate into an entry level Classroom Monitor part-time position in Adams 12 Five Star Schools. Instructional coaches work alongside adults to explore options and construct educational plan to become a paraprofessional.
Training classes prepare English and non-English native speaking adults to work in the Home Health Industry caring for clients at home. Training is designed to meet the needs of employers in the field in partnership with the Adams County Workforce and Business Center.
