There are many Workday resources for employees to stay updated on what’s happening with the Workday project, and now there is one more just for managers. Plus, Road Shows will be coming soon for Metropolitan State University of Denver employees, another valuable opportunity to stay connected to the Workday work. See details below for each.

The Workday Leader

Do you manage employees as part of your role at the University? If so, there’s a new resource for you. The Workday Leader is a manager-focused Workday resource where managers and leaders can access updates and tips for how to best support themselves and their employees as the University transitions to Workday. The Workday Leader will be available every month through January.

Managers can access the Workday Leader in the Manager Resources folder of the Workday Transformation Team. Managers are encouraged to check this folder consistently for this update.

Attend a Workday Road Show in October

Three Workday Road Shows are planned for October so employees can learn more about the new Workday system. Employees are encouraged to stop by to ask questions, view Workday demonstrations and even snag some Workday swag. If you can’t make it to an in-person Road Show, you can take part in a virtual one. See the Upcoming Events section of the Workday website for details.

Check out the updated Workday website

The Workday website is an ongoing resource for information about the Workday project. The site was recently redesigned and is loaded with even more Workday content. On the website, you can easily view Workday Early Bird articles, access FAQs and see spotlighted Workday information. Employees can stay up to date on the project’s timeline, get key milestone updates and even watch a fun video to see what Workday can do. Employees are encouraged to visit the Workday website often to stay informed about the project.

The transition to Workday will simplify and transform how work gets done at MSU Denver, so be sure to use these helpful resources to help prepare for the Workday launch scheduled for early January.
