CHS Department and Educational Pathways & Community Partnerships have a two-way organizational relationship.
Educational Pathways & Community Partnerships also has two-way relationships with:
MISSION. In collaboration with school districts and la comunidad, our mission is to create and sustain clearly defined, innovative academic and career pathways from middle school and high school to MSU Denver through Concurrent Enrollment (CE), Journey Through Our Heritage (JTOH) programs, and the Nepantla Summer Scholars Institute.
GOALS. Our goal is to increase the number of high school students who graduate with college credit while earning their high school diploma, preparing them for meaningful post-secondary academic and professional education by providing multiple academic and cultural pathways through the integration of Chicanisma/o and Latinidad concepts.
COLLECTIVE IDENTITY
We are committed to fostering a culture of collaborative care, reciprocity, respect, and shared values centered on the collective humanity found in the Mayan principles of In Lak’ech. This is our way of honoring ancestors before us and honoring each other by exemplifying intergenerational and interconnected Unidad (Unity) within the EPCP at MSU Denver.
Tú eres mi otro yo.
Si te hago daño a ti,
Me hago daño a mi mismo.
Si te amo y respeto,
Me amo y respeto yo.
You are my other me.
If I do harm to you,
I do harm to myself.
If I love and respect you,
I love and respect myself.
