Yes, you must choose a degree program (major) on your application. This is required in order to issue an I-20 Form. You cannot choose “Exploratory” or “Undeclared.”
*Note: You can change your major to another degree program if you change your mind later on.
** Our International Admissions team will review any international high school-level documents to determine if the 2.0 GPA requirement is met for applicants 19 years old and under.

MSU Denver offers classes in the Fall, Summer, and Spring Semesters.
Yes, you can apply and enroll for the Summer term.
However, please be aware that Summer is a shortened term. Because there is less class time in the Summer, the courses are intensive and fast-paced.
International students are required to take a minimum of 12 credits to maintain their visa status, even in the Summer term. Many of our MSU Denver students, both domestic and international, can find these courses challenging, but the credit requirement can add to the difficulty of successfully completing your courses.
It is ultimately your decision, but we want you to be aware of this information when deciding the term to start your program of study.
Yes – if you want any university-level coursework to be considered for transfer credit, you must submit your official university level documents.
