MSU Denver

Next application deadline is October 6th, 2023

The Undergraduate Research and Creative Scholarship Program offers mini-grants to support student research, scholarly works and creative projects.  The primary aim of the grant is to foster student-initiated, faculty-supervised research or scholarly/creative activity that is intended to result in an original contribution to the discipline.

Any currently enrolled MSU Denver undergraduate student who is conducting a research project or scholarly/creative works under the mentorship of an MSU Denver faculty member is eligible to receive funding ($500 maximum).  We encourage undergraduate students from all disciplines to apply.

*New this year: Students can request to use funds as a stipend. See application for details.

There will be two opportunities to apply for a mini-grant, October 6th and February 2nd. Awards will be made in November and March respectively. Please be aware that funds must be spent by June 30th, 2024.

We are happy to announce an additional grant that is available in the fall application through the sponsorship from the One World One Water (OWOW) department.  Students can opt-in for their projects to be reviewed for these specialized grants.  Please note there is only one grant award available per research project.
