Found Theatre

Found Theatre’s broader goal is to encourage artistic independence and to give a sense of both power and responsibility while engaging in artistic creation to those students involved. This organization was founded to provide student’s an independent outlet for artistic creation and professional development beyond the Theatre and Dance Department at MSU Denver. In addition to fostering change and conversation in the broader theatre industry.

Stage Combat Club

Many of our Theatre students enjoy the heat of the battle – especially when you get to play with broad swords, rapiers, and plan trick falls or punches. Members of this club meet to practice their stage combat skills, create and present performances, attend conferences and fairs.

"Rowdy Town" Improv Club

The answer is always “Yes…and?” This student led improv club meets throughout the semester to practice their improv skills, meet new friends, and plan for public performances. This club presents two public showcases throughout the semester and takes time to visit other improv clubs or performs at open-mic events.

Theatre Tech Club

Our Tech Club is a group of talented and motivated students who share commonality in the tech side of theatre. Whether your passions lie in lights, sound, set construction, set design, props, or costumes, you fit with this group. Each year members of this group raise funds for the national USITT annual conference. The Tech Club also provides intermission refreshments for all our productions.
