ALPACA (Archaeology, Linguistic, Physical, and Cultural Anthropology) is Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Anthropology Club. ALPACA strives to introduce students to all subfields of anthropology through regular meetings and activities. It is the goal of ALPACA to provide students with the opportunity to meet and hear from professionals working in the field of anthropology, as well as to meet other students with similar interests.   • Thursday, January 25: Semester kick-off meeting!
  • Thursday, February 8: Guest Lecture – Dr. Olson will be sharing his archaeological work in Cypress
  • Thursday, February 22: Movie Night – The Dig, the Netflix account of the 1939 Sutton Hoo excavation in Suffolk, England
