As we conclude an eventful calendar year, I want to express my sincere appreciation for the dedication and hard work you have shown across every branch, department and team. Your contributions fuel the flywheel, powering the success of our students, growing enrollment and retention, and providing important momentum we carry into the year ahead.
In recognition of your service, senior leadership and I are pleased to announce that Friday, Jan. 2, will be observed as a University holiday. Jan. 2 will be automatically adjusted as a paid holiday in Workday, so no action is required on your part, regardless of any leave you may have previously entered. To support student and hourly employees who rely on campus work, supervisors are encouraged to offer additional hours on open days in December and January to help offset the Jan. 2 closure.
