Professional selling is about helping people solve problems and make confident decisions, not just “closing deals.” In MSU Denver’s online Professional Selling B.A., you learn a modern sales process that focuses on trust, relationships and value so you can build long term partnerships with customers. You practice prospecting, asking better questions, communicating value and using sales technology in ways that feel authentic, not pushy.
MSU Denver’s Center for Professional Selling is nationally recognized as one of the top universities for professional sales education and is a full member of the University Sales Center Alliance, a distinction held by fewer than 50 schools worldwide. You study in the AACSB accredited College of Business and learn from faculty with real world sales experience while gaining hands on practice through role plays, projects with real companies, networking events and sales competitions. Because the program is fully online, you can start or advance a sales career from wherever you live while earning a degree that is built for high demand, high opportunity roles.
In MSU Denver’s professional selling program, your courses are taught by faculty who have built careers in sales and sales leadership before coming to the classroom. They bring stories from the field, current tools and real customer challenges into your online courses so you can see what professional selling looks like day to day.
For example, April Schofield, director of the Center for Professional Selling, worked in professional sports for the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche and was recognized as one of the National Basketball Association’s top sales professionals. Today she teaches courses such as Personal Selling, Advanced Selling and Sales Management, using her experience with high stakes, relationship driven selling to help students learn how to prepare for meetings, handle objections and build a strong sales career over time.
In MSU Denver’s online Professional Selling B.A., you learn how to manage the full consultative sales process from first contact to long term relationship. You build on a strong business core and take focused sales courses so you understand both how organizations work and how to create value for customers.
Coursework introduces you to topics such as personal selling, sales management, business communication, strategic marketing planning and consumer behavior. You learn how to research prospects, plan sales calls, ask effective questions, present solutions, handle objections and follow up in ways that build trust and long term partnerships.
Classes, role plays and projects help you turn sales concepts into practical skills you can use right away in work with customers and teams.
