The Online Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology provides a holistic understanding of humanity through the four sub-fields: Cultural Anthropology, Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, and Linguistic Anthropology. This breadth of knowledge develops critical thinking, cross-cultural competence, and applied research skills.
Our faculty don’t just teach, they work in the field, publish real research, and bring current, real-world findings straight into the classroom. For example, Professor Rich Sandoval deciphers Mayan writing and teaching about indigenous languages. Professor Michala Stock leads the Human Identification Laboratory where students analyze skeletal growth and variation.
You have direct access to mentors who are doing the work you’re studying, giving you opportunities to connect with active research, build professional-level skills, and stand out when you enter your career.
