I graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Humanities and a Certificate in Italian Studies. I participated in 3 study abroad programs in Italy (twice) and Spain. And, also lived in Turin, Italy with a host family for several months. I have traveled to France, the Netherlands, Costa Rica and Australia (two of my absolute favorites). I have a for exploring other cultures and chose a profession in Study Abroad in order to assist students with their international endeavors.
My first extensive international travel happened at age 7 when I traveled to Southeast Asia, Western Europe, and North Africa with my folks. I’ve had wanderlust ever since. I studied language in Costa Rica and did research India while earning my BA [history major; Spanish and Concept of Human Nature minors] from Colorado College. As a young professional I took a career-break, went to Spain and enrolled in language courses. I returned to Colorado and obtained my Master of Arts degree in History. Shortly after graduation, I began working here with study abroad programs.
