Instructional Accessibility Office Hours are offered by the Instructional Accessibility Group (IAG) to provide faculty with guidance, support, and resources to ensure their teaching materials and methods are accessible to all students, including those with disabilities.

During these office hours, faculty members can meet with members of the Instructional Accessibility Group (IAG) to discuss specific challenges with creating accessible course materials or implementing accessible teaching practices. The IAG will provide guidance on creating accessible documents, presentation materials, Canvas content, and more.

Faculty members may also receive assistance in understanding the legal requirements related to accessibility, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. The IAG can help faculty members ensure that their course materials and teaching methods meet these requirements, as well as provide guidance on how to proactively address accessibility in current and future courses.
