COVID-19 Response

As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, TRIO Upward Bound at MSU Denver has unfortunately had to suspend all in-person services until further notice. With that being said, we have moved all our services online so we can continue to support our participants during this unprecedented time. Please reach out to a TRIO Staff member with any questions you may have.

Who are We?

Upward Bound is a federally funded college preparatory program for income-eligible and first-generation college bound high school students. The purpose of the program is to provide participants with academic and college preparatory support in order to prepare them for post-secondary rigors, success, and graduation.

TRIO Upward Bound at MSU Denver is funded to serve 85 high school students who attend one ofthe following target schools: East, Lincoln, Manual, North, WEC, and WLA. The program consists of an academic year component as well as a mandatory summer component, and a Bridge program for college bound high school graduates.
