Bio
Hello! My name is Stephanie Russell, and I have been working in the field of human services and social work for around a decade. I have expertise in child welfare, policy, human service systems, Medicaid, behavioral health, substance use, mental health, program evaluation, research design, statistics, and data visualization. In my time in the field, I have learned that social workers have key insights and can be incredible macro practitioners. We not only can speak to the "what" of a situation, but we can also speak to client experience, social justice issues, and the human experience. We can contextualize and connect issues where connections may not be immediately obvious.
When I'm not assessing the human experience through the lens of a social worker, you can find me making music, cooking, gardening, or grabbing a pint with friends (outside of pandemic of course).
