I am currently a Professor in the Department of Nutrition. I started teaching at MSU Denver in the fall of 2014. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a doctoral degree in Nutrition and a master's degree in Nutrition and Health Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Current research interests and activities focus on: PCOS (specifically related to nutrition and lean PCOS), backpacking nutrition, and diversity in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
