Research Interests
Clinically, my research is focused on quality of life indicators and shared decision making; central line associated blood stream infection identification and prevention in clinically neutropenic children; and family education.
Other topics of interest include the nursing cohort model, and somatic pain responses later in life.
Teaching Interests
I feel impelled to assist students realize their potential within the nursing profession. As such, I truly enjoy teaching all aspect of theoretical and experiential nursing education, including: Pediatrics, Pharmacology, Medical/Surgical Nursing, Research, Lab, Health Assessment, Clinical, and Leadership/Management.
