Bio

I have worked in a variety of settings and roles including clinical, program and policy settings in the course of my career, including private practice, non-profit, higher education and public health. My focus has been on application of promising and evidence based approaches in practice. I have had a flexible and varied career in social work, and bring a focus on development of competencies and skills to my teaching.

Teaching Interests

I have taught sexuality, social work practice with LGBTQIA+ populations, philosophy of social work, power oppression and privilege, and field as well as other public health and staff development trainings. Equity and violence prevention have been a focus in my work.
