Bio
Dr. Friedland received his Ph.D. from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2000. Prior to MSU Denver, he was assistant professor at Trinity Business School, Trinity College, Dublin and held full-time positions at George Washington University, Fordham University, and the University of Colorado. His research focuses on moral psychology and reasoning; particularly moral self-awareness and new means by which virtues may be instilled through management, marketing and AI design. This ties into his teaching in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability.
