Bio

Joanna Shofner, MA, CCC-SLP, is a lecturer and clinical educator (CE) in the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Department at MSU Denver. She is a Colorado-based licensed and certified SLP who has worked in public schools, private clinics, and private practice. Her expertise and professional areas of interest are weighted in language, literacy, executive functioning, social-pragmatic skills, articulation, and fluency. Joanna's experience as an SLP has centered on early elementary children through young adults, with an affinity for working with pre-adolescents and adolescents. She has taught a variety of courses at MSU Denver, from undergraduate to graduate level SLHS coursework, with a particular fondness for Anatomy and Physiology of Speech and Hearing.
