Bio

Clay Daughtrey (1998 Ed.D. Sport Administration) is a Professor of Marketing and a member of the Professional Selling Faculty. Prior to this, he served as the College of Business Associate Dean, Department Chair of Marketing, Department Chair of Hospitality, Events, and Tourism, and the University Advancement Faculty Fellow. He has also served as a member of the Board of the Marketing Educators’ Association from 2003 to the present. In preparation for his academic career, he held numerous positions in the sport and entertainment industry with the Charlotte Coliseum, Disney on Ice, Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus, and the Olympics.
