Bio

Born in Boston, I am the Muldoon who has traveled furthest west since we all came ashore a century ago. I am a historian of colonial South Asia and the British Empire, and my 2009 book focused on the politics of Indian nationalism and British colonialism in the 1930s. My current project is a study of soldiers' experiences in India and Burma in World War II.
