Even as the top transfer destination in the state, changing schools or continuing an education after a pause can be extremely difficult for students. To help mitigate this process, Metropolitan State University of Denver employees are encouraged to attend the inaugural Transfer Champion Symposium on Feb. 15 and learn about all the ways to help almost 50% of the student body.

Conference information

The half-day conference, featuring partners from the Colorado Community College System, will help attendees discover ways to better support transfer students from their first semester at a community college through the completion of their bachelor’s degree at MSU Denver.

Specifically, attendees will share insights on the diverse needs of transfer students and walk away with actionable strategies for serving and supporting students through the transfer pipeline. The symposium will also be a productive networking platform on which MSU Denver faculty and staff members may build and strengthen collaborations and partnerships with the University’s top transfer community colleges.
