Through the Anthem Wellness Reward Program, employees can receive financial incentives as digital gift cards. The 2024 program runs through Dec. 31. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of the program and get rewarded for their healthy, smart choices. 

Important 2023 program reminder: 

Eligible and participating Metropolitan State University of Denver employees and their spouses who enrolled and earned rewards through the 2023 program must redeem them by the end of March. Unredeemed rewards will be forfeited. Read the Know Your Benefits Wellness Program article. 

How the 2024 program works: 

As participants complete health activities, they will earn dollars toward digital gift cards. Completed and eligible health activities are tracked and automatically updated in the participant’s anthem.com account. Rewards can be redeemed throughout the year or can be saved and redeemed at the end of the year.  

There are a variety of health activities that will earn participants rewards in 2024: 

  • Complete the online Health Assessment: $25 
  • Enroll and complete ConditionCare: $100 
  • Complete Online Digital Health Rewards: up to $100 
  • Enroll and complete the Wellbeing Coach: $100 
  • Complete annual wellness exam: $50 
  • Mammogram: $75 
  • Colorectal cancer screening: $75 
  • Prostate-cancer screening: $75 
  • Meru Program completion $50

The maximum incentive amount is $225 per person. Spouses who are covered and registered are eligible to earn wellness-program incentives too — that’s $450 for employee and spouse just for being proactive!  

Important information:  

  • Spouses must register for their own Anthem account to earn rewards.  
  • Participants can choose from a list of retailers or a prepaid MasterCard.  
  • Participants can track their progress and reward balances on anthem.com or the Sydney Health app. 

How to access Anthem Health Rewards through the member portal:  

  1. Register at anthem.com.  
  2. Go to the My Health Dashboard. Select Program. 
  3. Select Anthem Health Rewards. 

How to access Anthem Health Rewards through the Sydney Health app:  

  1. Launch the Sydney Health app.  
  2. Go to the More menu.  
  3. Select My Health Dashboard.  
  4. Scroll down and select My Rewards to view or Redeem Rewards to select gift card.
