This semester has been jam-packed with events, updates and operational changes at Metropolitan State University of Denver and on the Auraria Campus. While the Early Bird works to keep faculty, staff and student employees informed about all University and campus happenings, employees’ readership and collaboration is highly appreciated.

With that, special thanks go out to the loyal participants of Trivia Tuesday!

Our final winner:

Week 4, the final quiz of this semester’s Trivia Tuesday series, saw 20 perfect scores.

This week’s winner, selected via random generator, is JT Kendall!

JT is a Pathways to Possible student-success coach in the Classroom to Career Hub, having served there since the beginning of the program in July 2021.

Before his time at MSU Denver, JT worked with nonprofit organizations in their efforts to support immigrants, refugees and asylees as they navigated life in the U.S. and its K-12 and adult education systems. What a great example for our students!

JT reads the Early Bird to hear more on the faculty/academic side of things. To JT, the best part of working at MSU Denver is the students, especially those awesome 500-plus students always doing their best in the P2P program. This community of students and his fellow coaches make every day a bluebird day!

Congratulations, JT! Thanks for reading the Early Bird and for being an outstanding Roadrunner!
