Micro-Credential and Digital Badging Policy Implementation Begins

MSU Denver’s Micro-Credential and Digital Badging Policy — approved by the Faculty Senate in spring 2022 — officially took effect on August 18, 2022. Academic departments and university units can now create, design, and award micro-credentials signified by digital badges.

The University Badging Committee was also formed, with an inaugural meeting scheduled for September 2022. Faculty volunteers were invited to serve. Proposals are submitted through Curriculog, the university’s curriculum management system. (Read Full Article)
