If you maintain ties to the state of Colorado

1. Complete the In-State Correction Form

• For number one, please put your ‘from date’ beginning with the first day you were in Colorado prior to enlistment and today’s date as your ‘to date’. The ties to Colorado should be documented in number three through number nine.

-or- If you are on a permanent change of station within the nation and wish to use your post 9/11 GI Bill or Montgomery GI Bill Chapter 30

1. Complete the Active Duty Military Tuition Classification Form

-or- If you are a member of the Colorado National Guard at least one day before classes begin

1. Complete the CO National Guard Tuition Classification Form

• Make sure to also provide the documentation specified on the form

If you will be using post 9/11 GI Bill, Montgomery GI Bill Chapter 30, or Chapter 35
1. Provide your certificate of eligibility
2. Provide your DD-214 (member 4, long version)

-or- If you have been honorably discharged and not using any tuition benefits
1. Complete the Veteran Tuition Classification Form

• Complete the American Indian Certification Form (PDF)
• Submit proof of registration with a federally recognized American Indian tribe with historical ties to CO
  • A copy of your tribal citizenship card (front and back) or
  • A copy of your Certificate of Indian Blood (CDIB), which must contain a tribalseal or be on tribal letterhead and must include your official identification number (e.g., census number, tribal citizenship number, enrollment number, certified tribal council number)

Residents of a western state/territory (AK, AZ, CA, HI, ID, MT, NV, NM, ND, OR, SD, UT, WA, WY, American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam) are eligible for to apply for the WUE WICHE

1. Complete the Western Undergraduate Exchange form by census of the first semester

1. Submit completed Peace Corps Certification form (PDF)
2. Submit documents of proof showing satisfactory volunteer service.

Students who are current citizens of the Freely Associated states of the Federal States of Micronesia, Republic of the Marshal Islands, and Republic of Palau are eligible for resident tuition through the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024. This applies to tuition charged to students on or after July 1, 2024.
