Yes. More than one source of funding is permitted to meet the financial support requirements. An F-1 Affidavit of Financial Support form must be completed for sponsor who submits a bank statement on your behalf.
We encourage students to pursue a variety of financial aid resources to maximize their chance of getting awarded. These can include institutional aid through MSU Denver and external, private scholarship opportunities.
Yes, MSU Denver does have scholarships that international students can apply for. After you are admitted to MSU Denver, you can submit our Scholarship Application to apply for any available scholarships where you meet the eligibility requirements.
However, in order to receive an admission decision, you must first submit the required financial documentation that shows a minimum balance of $41,690 USD in liquid funds. These financial documents are required by U.S. federal regulations and cannot be waived.
Then after you get a positive admission decision, you can apply for MSU Denver institutional aid.
