ViaTRM is home to a list of a vast majority of our program options. Curious on what MSU Denver has a glance? This should be your first stop.
As soon as possible. Ideally, you should start identifying where you’d like to go and interesting programs over 3 months in advance of your target study aboard date.
Yes! You can, and we encourage you to. There are only a few edge cases where you cannot use your financial aid and FAFSA to study abroad.
Faculty-led programs are hosted by and led by an MSU Denver professor, course credit must be earned from this study abroad experience, and the credit earned is counted directly as an MSU Denver course. These programs can only occur during regular school breaks, such as spring break, summer, or winter break.
Partnership programs are hosted by an outside entity of multiple kinds, such as a foreign university like King’s College of London (KCL) or a private company like Semester at Sea. These programs may be taken for credit, or not. If you want to use the study abroad experience as credit towards your degree at MSU Denver, this credit will count as an equivalent, rather than a direct MSU Denver course, so make sure you have verified with us that it will count. These programs can occur at an time during the year, not just in regular school breaks.
Still unsure which program is best for you? We’re happy to walk you through the process.
