Big changes are underway on the 5th floor of the Admin Building. This semester, the College of Business updated the space to give students more places to study and easier access to support. We’ve added new study areas, relocated the CBUS Tutoring Center and University Writing Center, and reconfigured a conference room that will double as a classroom for upper-level courses. The goal is simple: make the 5th floor a comfortable, convenient place where students can work, ask questions, and connect with faculty and staff throughout the day.

Study Spaces

The new study spaces are stocked with snacks, office supplies, and whiteboards to make studying a little easier. Students do not have to reserve the area or rent out the supplies; they are available from 9am to 5pm, Monday-Friday, for students. One space is located right off the elevators, and the other is near the Management Department.

CBUS Tutoring Center

The CBUS Tutoring Center is now located in room 520, and offers College of Business students support for all business core classes. This semester, we have two student tutors in addition to Owen Herman, Manager of the Tutoring Center. Students can use the Tutoring Center for extra help in business classes, whether it’s class material, assignments, or study tips.

New Conference Room and Classroom Spaces

Our newly converted conference room, room 580, now doubles as a flexible classroom space, designed for collaboration and hands-on learning. It will host several of our upper-level and capstone courses, giving students a more professional setting that mirrors the environments they’ll step into after graduation.
