Meet the Team Behind the Project

Shaping the Future of the Student Experience—Together

The Workday Student Project reflects MSU Denver’s deep commitment to student success. To bring this vision to life, a cross-functional team of professionals is implementing a new student information system—designed to make it easier for students to access services, manage their academic journey, and stay on track to graduation.

This team includes a steering committeeprogram leadership, and both functional and technical workstream leads and their teams—each bringing specialized expertise to elevate the student experience. Together, they’re leading a transformation that will help students thrive—today and for years to come.

Building Blocks of the Workday Student Project

To understand how the Workday Student Project team is structured—and the vital role it plays in implementing Workday Student—it helps to first understand workstreams. These are the major focus areas of the project, covering both functional areas like Admissions, Financial Aid, and Advising, and technical areas such as Security and Data Integration.

Each workstream is led by a dedicated lead who has stepped away from their day-to-day responsibilities to focus fully on the project. These leads are supported by teams responsible for designing, building, and testing solutions that align with MSU Denver’s academic and administrative goals.

By organizing the project into focused, manageable parts, these teams can collaborate more effectively, stay aligned with their goals, and keep the project moving forward—all in support of a more seamless and student-centered experience.
