The grant-funded Voter Engagement Student Ambassador (VESA) project is back and four ambassadors are ready to help students better understand the voting process.

With the support of the Auraria Voter Engagement Committee (tri-institutional committee), VESAs will be visiting classrooms, hosting events, and tabling across campus for the upcoming election cycles:

– November 7th

– March 5th (Presidential Primary)

– June 25th

– November 7, 2024 (Presidential Election)

Voter Engagement Student Ambassadors are non-partisan MSU Denver students who partake in events and classroom visits at MSU Denver, CCD, and CU Denver to highlight the importance of being civically engaged in their community. During a classroom visit, VESA’s will talk for 5-10 minutes before class about upcoming elections, how to register to vote, and other ways to stay civically engaged. Elections are coming up soon and having a VESA speak to your students is a great way to increase voter turnout!
