About the Program
This research opportunity is open to MSU Denver students only. Successful applicants will engage in a total of 20 hours of shadowing at CSU SPUR over the summer. This will serve as an interview process and ensure the student wishes to continue onto a fully paid ($18.50/hr) internship at CSU SPUR for the 2024/25 academic year.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- Summer Shadowing Experience (20 hours total) and a field trip to the CSU Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Department in Fort Collins
- Commit 2 full-term semesters (Fall/Spring)
- Up to 225 hours each semester ($18.50/hr)
- Attend the Front Range Student Ecology Symposium (February 2025)
- Present at MSU Denver’s Undergraduate Research Conference (April 2025)
- Application Deadline: May 31st

In addition to answering 5 short essay questions, you will be asked to provide the name and contact information of one reference and you will be asked to upload a resume that includes any work experience and a list of plant courses you have taken.
